Since 2013, Pixologie has helped families both in Southeastern Wisconsin and around the country preserve millions of photos, slides, negatives, video, film and more. Our system has helped countless people figure out where to start with their photo collections.
How We Started
Mollie Bartelt and Ann Matuszak met back in 2007 when Mollie started a Creative Memories business. Ann was already a seasoned leader with the company and, along with their friend Julie, helped many people create scrapbooks, digital photo books and save countless memories. But, in 2013, the company went into bankruptcy for the second time. Ann was ready to start a photo organizing business and Mollie was interested too!
They launched Pixologie in July of 2013 starting to provide hands on assistance for many people who needed help preserving their photos. It quickly went far beyond a home based business. Mollie and Ann opened their first location in 2014. They were semi-finalists in the 2017 Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest and were awarded Small Business of the Year by the South Suburban Chamber of Commerce in the beginning of 2020.
With the pandemic, many changes came to Pixologie. The business moved to Greenfield and Ann returned to a home based business model where she could offer concierge and genealogy services while being available for her family including parents, children and five grandchildren!
