Depends upon your goals for social media
Pixologie uses Facebook and Twitter extensively in our marketing efforts. However, the way we use each of these is vastly different. Most of us are aware of Facebook and how to use it, so today’s tip is going to focus on Twitter.
How We Use Twitter
- Not necessarily for clients or consumers (although we have some clients who use Twitter)
- Primarily, for business contacts, referral sources, community outreach as well as national awareness
- Tweets go out at least daily – and more – and focus on what we are up at the moment, blogs and shouting out to other businesses who are doing great things, etc.
Example of Twitter Use
In the following screenshot, you can see a tweet we put out yesterday. We are hosting a Local First Meeting at our studio and offering 50 free scans. Pineapple Cafe is providing breakfast. Then Local First retweeted it to their 13,000+ followers . . . we’ll see what happens at our meeting today in terms of attendance. Also – at our meeting, we’ll take photos and tweet those out as well. Follow along at our Twitter account!
